The Creighton men’s basketball team earned a victory at home on Tuesday night expecting to go on the road for the second round game in the NIT. Instead, Wagner upset St. Bonaventure on their home court, making the Bluejays the higher seed and host to the second round game on Saturday morning.
No matter what happens, this will be the last game for the Bluejays at the CenturyLink Center this season. Virginia Tech (#3 seed) and BYU (#2 seed) will square off on Friday night. If the Bluejays advance they would very likely play on the road at their venue.
