A little over two weeks ago, Creighton had the chance to take an early conference lead with a victory over Missouri State. The Bluejays seemed poised to post that win after a solid first half. Unfortunately, the Bears came out as the better team during the second half, outscoring CU 47-26 and leaving Qwest Center with a win.
Turnabout could be fair play this weekend as the Jays head to Springfield to take on MSU in the return game. Missouri State just lost its first conference game on Wednesday night in the final seconds against Indiana State. Greg McDermott and his Creighton team have a great opportunity to garner a bit of revenge in front of a national audience.
