On Thursday night, ten teams will begin the dogfight to get the Missouri Valley Conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. It has been an interesting conference season and the battle will culminate on Sunday–A full week before the field of 68 is selected.
Missouri State and Wichita State are highly anticipating who they will be matched up with and have less time to prepare compared to Creighton who is quite familiar with their opponent. The Bluejays take on Northern Iowa on Friday afternoon who they faced less than a week ago on Senior Day in Omaha.
This is the second straight season and third in the last four that Creighton has played the same opponent in the first round of the MVC Tournament after finishing the regular season against them. Creighton fans expected at the beginning of the season that a journey through St. Louis would likely be what is needed to get to the NCAA Tournament and this is exactly where things are at. Win three games, go to the Big Dance.
Many are making the trip to the second biggest Mardi Gras in the nation as well as the tournament. White & Blue Review will be down in St. Louis as well taking in every minute and bringing you up to date information throughout Arch Madness. But for those unable to make the trip, we have your following options right here for you to keep track of the Bluejays.
