Creighton returns to Omaha after a disheartening loss against previously winless conference foe Bradley. They must get past that loss and focus on Evansville, one of the hottest teams in the league. The Aces have won 6 of their last 7 since Creighton beat UE in Evansville last month.
If for some reason you cannot make it out for Saturday’s 2 p.m. tip, here are the different ways you can follow the game.
Television
The game will be broadcast by Nebraska Educational Television (NET), the PBS station across the state of Nebraska. The best part is that it is in HD! Kevin Kugler and former Creighton Bluejay Nick Bahe will have the call.
- If you still have the rabbit ears on your TV, it is available across the state of Nebraska on your local PBS station.
- For those with cable systems, it is available on Cox channel 12 or 712 in the Omaha metro. In other areas of Nebraska, it will be available on your cable’s main NET channel. Here is a coverage map and translators/channels.
- The game will be on DirecTV channel 26 and on Dish Network 9147 in the local DMA market which is Nebraska and parts of Iowa.
- The game WILL be available nationwide on ESPN Full Court and ESPN3.com (where available). The NET SD broadcast will be beamed nationwide.
Online
There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:
- A video webcast is available. If you have access to ESPN3.com through your internet provider, then you can watch it there or access the NET broadcast directly. Both are free.
- Keep up with the live stats of the game.
- Get stats on your mobile device from GoCreightonStats.com
- Follow the tweets of GoCreighton for score updates.
- Follow the tweets from the Omaha World-Herald, Steve Pivovar, and Steve Takaba.
- Listen to the streaming audio of the broadcast by AM 590, Omaha’s ESPN Radio.
- For the Evansville side of things, listen here.
Radio
If you find yourself traversing the greater Midwest — specifically, the eastern part of Nebraska, Iowa, and even into Missouri — you can pick up T. Scott Marr’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Brody Deren on AM 590, Omaha’s ESPN Radio.
If you are in the 6100 watt range of Evansville’s campus radio station WUEV (91.5 FM), you can catch the pro-Purple Aces broadcast there.
