Media Menu: Creighton vs. Missouri State

Creighton started Missouri Valley Conference play last week with two wins against Illinois State and Drake. Antoine Young and Gregory Echenique led the way against the Redbirds, while Doug McDermott and Kenny Lawson posted double-doubles during a blowout against the Bulldogs. Meanwhile the rest of the team appears to possess a lot of chemistry, with the rest of the roster fulfilling their various roles.

Next up for the Bluejays? A tough Missouri State team that comes to Omaha riding a wave of momentum and carrying a lot of confidence into the Qwest Center. The Bears, also 2-0 on Valley play, were picked by some publications to win the league this season. With the biggest game of the season so far happening on Tuesday night with the Bears, it should be a rockin’ environment at the Qwest Center.

But in the event you can’t make it out in the cold winter night, we have options for you. Here is what you will need to know to follow the Bluejays as they take on Missouri State in Tuesday night’s 7PM game.

Television

The Bluejays will be regionally televised on Fox Sports Net, namely Fox Sports Midwest for those in Nebraska. It will be shown in 16×9 widescreen, not HD. MVC Superstar Mitch Holthus and Rich Zvosec will be on the call for this one.

  • In the Omaha area, the game will be available on Cox Cable channel 47 and 745.
  • The game is available on satellite providers DirecTV channel 671, Dish Network channel 418 and for those with AT&T U-Verse, Channel 748
  • In other areas of the country it will be live on Fox Sports Indiana, Fox Sports Kansas City, Comcast Sports Net Plus, and KSMO-TV in Kansas City.

Online

There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:

Radio

If you find yourself traversing the greater Midwest — specifically, the eastern part of Nebraska, Iowa, and even into Missouri — you can pick up T. Scott Marr’s play-by-play along with former Bluejay Nick Bahe on Big Sports 590 AM.

If you are in the Springfield area, you can catch the game on the dial on flagship station KTXR, 101.3 FM or any of the other Missouri State Radio Network affiliates across the state of Missouri, including the St. Louis and Kansas City markets.

As always, if you have other media entities to add to follow the games, feel free to leave them in the comments.
