CU Stat o’ the Day
62.1% True Shooting Percentage
Creighton ranks first nationally in this shooting percentage, which accounts for all shots — field goals, three-pointers, and free throws. Only three teams in the country can boast a true shooting percentage north of 60%: Eastern Kentucky (61.0%), Belmont (61.4%), and the Bluejays (62.1%).
What to Watch Tonight
Providence @ Seton Hall (6:00 p.m. CT, CBS Sports Network)
The Friars are one of two Big East teams to beat the Bluejays this season. At 18-10 and 8-7 in the Big East, the Friars are squarely on the bubble for an NCAA Tournament bid, though, and likely need to win out to be in the conversation come March 16. Seton Hall (14-14; 5-10 Big East), seemingly assured to be playing on Wednesday night in NYC in a few weeks, can play spoiler at home.
Today in Bluejays Basketball History
February 28, 1994 — Bradley 70, Creighton 49
Just a few seasons removed from winning a game in the NCAA Tournament, the Bluejays finish a 7-22 season with a blowout home loss to the Bradley Braves. The game is important because it was the last one coached by Rick Johnson, who would wrap up his third and final season as the head man on the Hilltop with an overall record of 24-59. A short time later, Bruce Rasmussen would name Dana Altman head coach. The rest, as they say, is history.

It may seem like forever ago, but the Bluejays started their 2013-14 season with a thrashing of Alcorn State. Devin Brooks made his regular season debut and turned heads with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 3 steals, and 1 turnover in 16 minutes.
