The Creighton men’s basketball team returned to the court on Friday night against Longwood. The Bluejays dominated the game from start to finish and closed out the night with a 113-58 victory over the Lancers. Creighton is the first Division I team to reach 10 wins on the season while being only one of eight teams still undefeated this season.
The Bluejays set a CenturyLink Center record scoring 113 points in the victory. Khyri Thomas and Marcus Foster led six players in double-figures scoring 16 points each. Maurice Watson, Jr., had 10 points and 11 assists in only 23 minutes of play. Martin Krampelj, Isaiah Zierden and Toby Hegner rounded out the double-figure scoring with 11, 10, and 10 points respectively. In fact every Creighton player in uniform and who got in the game on Friday night scored.
With a lot of players on the court, that means more photos to be shared. WBR photographer Adam Streur was there to capture the action, including the presentation to Cole Huff before the game on scoring over 1000 points in his career.
