In the first few minutes of Saturday night’s game, the #10 Creighton men’s basketball team looked like they were going to knock Oral Roberts out of the game early. However, after the initial onslaught, the Golden Eagles settled into their game against the Bluejays and gave them a scare. When it was all said and done, Creighton got out of the CenturyLink Center with a 66-65 win.
Marcus Foster led the Jays with 22 points including a short basket in the lane to put the Jays up by one point. Both teams failed to score over the final 3:21 of the game and the Bluejays had several defensive stands in the final minutes. Maurice Watson, Jr., had a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists in the victory.
