Friday night, Creighton secured at least a share of their sixth consecutive Big East championship with a 3-1 win over #9 Marquette. The Bluejays defeated the Golden Eagles 22-25, 25-17, 25-19 and 25-17 in front of 2,504 fans, the sixth-largest crowd in D.J. Sokol Arena history. With the win, Creighton is now 23-4 on the season and 16-1 in Big East play, while Marquette fell to 25-4 overall and 15-2 in conference action.
