The #8 Creighton men’s basketball team had a great opportunity to step out of conference play on Saturday and get a lot of players some playing time. Marcus Foster scored 21 points including six straight to start the first half as the Bluejays pulled away from Truman State 101-69.
Justin Patton had 14 points and 10 rebounds, while Cole Huff also contributed 10 points, but it was the play of Davion Mintz and Ronnie Harrell off the bench that was most impressive on the day. Mintz had 9 points in 16 minutes and did a great job to let Maurice Watson have some rest. Meanwhile, Harrell scored 9 points and grabbed 6 rebounds along with a couple steals that lead to a couple nice dunks. All 13 players in uniform scored for the Bluejays.
