Coming off a disappointing weekend series loss to Southern Illinois, the Creighton Bluejays baseball program needed a positive performance Tuesday against the Kansas Jayhawks. The Jays got it, in the form of a 5-3 win, thanks to the unlikely heroics of Jordan Makovicka. The freshman, who has played in only a dozen games this season, hit a 3-2 pitch with 2 outs and the bases loaded to score the go-ahead runs in Creighton’s half of the eighth inning.
WBR’s Adam Streur captured all of the action from Creighton’s late-inning victory against the Jayhawks.
