On Saturday night, the Creighton men’s basketball team suffered their third straight loss, this time at home to Wichita State 89-68. The Bluejays suffered their worst loss ever at the CenturyLink Center facility and their worst loss at home since back in 1995 against Nebraska
Gregory Echenique led Creighton with 16 points in front of the largest crowd in Creighton basketball history. Doug McDermott was limited to 13 points on 5-of-14 shooting and the Bluejays could never recover after their only lead at 8-7.
