Creighton moved to 8-1-1 overall and remained unbeaten and untied in Big East Conference play thanks to late heroics by freshman Lucas Stauffer. After blowing a 2-0 lead in the last 15 minutes of the match, the Bluejays went ahead for good thanks to a header by Stauffer, his second goal of the night. Ricardo Perez also netted a goal for Elmar Bolowich’s team.
