The Creighton women’s basketball team welcomed in-state rival Nebraska on Wednesday night. The Bluejays played intensely against the #25 team in the nation, getting off to a fast start.
Creighton took a nine-point lead into the locker room at halftime and they were able to maintain their lead throughout the second half, upsetting the Cornhuskers 66-57. Marissa Janning continued her breakout play at BYU against the Huskers leading the way with 19 points. McKenzie Fujan also scored a career high 13 points in the victory.
