The Creighton women’s basketball team returned home to Sokol Arena on Friday night. It was their first home game in almost a month. After getting two dominating wins to start conference play on the road, the Bluejays took it to Illinois State and walked away with a 19 point victory
Sarah Nelson was three assists away from a triple-double and Creighton held the Redbirds to 28.8% shooting in the victory. She finished with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists along with three blocks. Marissa Janning was the only other Bluejay in double-figures with 11 points on 5-of-16 shooting.
