If you haven’t taken the opportunity to see the Creighton women’s basketball team in action, you probably should get it on the calendar. The Jays moved to 5-0 in Big East play and 10-3 overall as they walked all over Marquette on Friday night in a 62-45 win at DJ Sokol Arena.
Lauren Jensen led the way with 15 points, Morgan Maly came off the bench to chip in 12 points, and Carly Bachelor scored 10 points. Tatum Rembao dished out 6 assists as the Bluejays had 18 assists on 25 baskets overall.
The victory sets up a showdown with UConn on Sunday.
