Taryn Jakubowski scored two goals and Skylar Heinrich continues her great freshman start putting in another goal herself as the Creighton women’s soccer team gained a 3-1 victory over Oklahoma at Morrison Stadium.
The Bluejays got out to a 2-0 lead before halftime with Heinrich starting the scoring in the 17th minute and Jakubowski getting her first goal of the game a few minutes later off an assist from Heinrich. After Oklahoma cut the lead in the 62nd minute, Jakubowski scored the insurance goal in the 85th minute. The Bluejays went 3-0 against the Big 12 in the non-conference season.
