Tuesday night, Florida’s Brady Singer gave up just six hits over seven innings, and the Gators beat Louisville 5-1 to advance to a winners’ bracket game on Friday. It was the second straight dominating performance from a Gator starting pitcher, coming on the heels of Alex Faedo’s two-hit, 11-strikeout game Sunday against TCU. Florida’s offense was powered by homers from Austin Langworthy and Deacon Liput; Langworthy’s solo HR touched off the left-field foul pole in the third, and Liput’s three-run shot went into the right-field bullpen the next inning.
WBR’s Brad Williams captured all the action. Here’s his photos from the game!
