Creighton came into the game 2-1 following a 14-0 loss to Rice Institute. And although the Bluejays put up points in this contest, they would muster only a tie with their neighbors to the east.
The Bluejays would win the next week (7-6 against Grinnell) but then lose their remaining four games in 1935.
