October 25, 2008 — Creighton’s volleyball team follows up a loss to #12 Wichita State with a stirring 5-set win at Missouri State.
The Bluejays jumped out to a 2-0 lead over the Bears in Springfield, with Missouri State winning the next two sets to tie the match 2-2. Creighton then scored five of the last 6 points of the fifth set, winning 15-12 and moving into sole possession of third place in the MVC standings.
