January 20, 2003 — Creighton garners the school’s highest ranking in the Coaches poll, then celebrates with a 13-point win against Illinois State.

Dana Altman’s Bluejays, led by Kyle Korver, entered the day 15-1 and earned a #10 national ranking in the Coaches poll. That evening, the Jays would force 20 Redbirds turnovers and coast to a 95-82 win. Larry House led the way for the Bluejays with 23 points and 8 rebounds, career-highs for the senior to that point in his two years at CU.

Also scoring in double figures for the #10 Bluejays were Korver (17), Joe Dabbert (11), and Mike Grimes (10).
