December 7, 1967 — Bob Portman attempts the third-most field goals in Creighton history during a loss to Arizona State.

Portman, fourth on Creighton’s all-time scoring list, shoots 36 times against the Sun Devils, the first of two times he would attempt 36 shots in a game during his Bluejay career. In fact, Portman owns the top 10 field goal attempt games in CU history.
