February 6, 2009 — Creighton’s women’s basketball team wins its first game in Springfield since 2002.
The Bluejays beat Missouri State 74-61 behind double-figure scoring efforts from Kelsey Woodard (18), Megan Neuvirth (15), Chevelle Herring (14), and Kristina Voss (12). The Bluejays shot 59% in the second half and 50% for the game, while limiting the Bears to just 35% shooting for the game.
It was Creighton’s 8th straight victory.
