Today in Bluejay History (4/16)

April 16, 1997 — Kevin Frederick ties the Creighton single-game home run mark.

Frederick hit 3 home runs against the Minnesota Gophers as the Bluejays swept a doubleheader on the road.

Frederick is the last Bluejays player to hit 3 homers in one game, joining Mike Stick (April 2, 1995 vs. Northern Iowa) as the only CU players to accomplish the feat.
