August 28, 2007 — The Creighton volleyball team travels to Ames and pulls out a road win against Iowa State, pushing the Bluejays’ record to 3-1.
After winning game one 30-24 but losing Kelly Goc to an ankle injury, the Bluejays dropped game two (27-30) but stormed back for wins in games three and four (30-18 and 30-21). Sophomore Lauren Bloemke paced Creighton with a career-high 18 kills in place of the injured Goc.
