September 5, 1999 — The Creighton men’s soccer team, ranked #7 in the nation, begins its season with a 3-0 win at home over North Carolina.
Although they only put 4 shots on goal, the Bluejays converted on 3 of them to send the Tar Heels home via the shutout. Goals by Steve Bernal, Joel Reddington, and Brian Mullan paced the Jays.
