We took the plunge. After years of talking about Creighton Bluejays sports amongst ourselves, we (misguidedly?) thought Hey, maybe other Jays fans would want to hear us!
So, we did what any respectable digital site would do, and we started a podcast. This it the first episode. As in, we’re shooting for more of ’em, on a regular basis. Practice makes perfect, after all. And as you’ll hear, we’re far from it — yet.
ANYWAY, here’s what to listen for in our first episode:
- Matt DeMarinis and Otter talk a bit of men’s basketball off-season stuff, including what Jays fans might expect as Mac’s roster comes back to campus in the next week or two to start individual workouts.
- DeMarinis shares a one-on-one, 4-minute interview with Creighton volleyball’s Kirsten Bernthal-Booth, touching on everything from last season’s wild ride to the Sweet Sixteen and why she loves her job on the Hilltop.
- DeMarinis goes inside recent exhibition performances by Ross Paule’s and Elmar Bolowich’s Creighton soccer squads.
- We share a few stories from the good ol’ days of the Civic Auditorium, including a great memory from former Creighton basketball player Doug Swenson.
