Photo Gallery: Creighton Baseball Gets Past South Dakota State

After taking the series against Utah Valley over the weekend, the Creighton baseball team got back out on the diamond again on Tuesday night to take on South Dakota state.  The Bluejays took the lead in the bottom of the 6th and the bullpen shut things down to leave TD Ameritrade Park with a 4-2 victory.

Seven Creighton pitchers pitched six scoreless innings to preserve the victory after starter Connor Miller left after the third inning down 2-1.  Kevin Connolly delivered a game tying RBI groundout with the bases loaded and a wild pitch brought home another run to put the Bluejays up 3-2 and the pen took over.
