Creighton’s opening weekend of home baseball games ended with a sweep at the hands of the Minnesota Gophers. Sunday’s 9-0 loss was especially frustrating for the Bluejays, given they became the first team in TD Ameritrade Park history to not record a hit for an entire game. Minnesota’s Dalton Sawyer, Tyler Hanson, and Lance Thonvold combined to blank the Jays, who fell to 5-5 on the year and have lost three straight.
