The Creighton men’s basketball team jumped out on Nebraska early and did not look back in the 83-67 victory on Wednesday night. This is Bluejays fifth straight win over the Huskers.
Isaiah Zierden was on fire early for the Bluejays and led the way with 17 points on 5-of-7 shooting after being held scoreless at Loyola last Saturday. Geoffrey Groselle keyed an early second half run and chipped in 15 points in the win. Mo Watson rounded out the Jays in double figures with 14 points, including 7-of-10 from the free throw line.
