Maurice Watson had one of the best games in his career on Tuesday night against Georgetown at the CenturyLink Center. He and the rest of the Creighton men’s basketball team rebounded after Saturday’s loss against Villanova with the 79-66 victory over the Hoyas.
The 5’10” Watson led the Bluejays in scoring and rebounding as he scored 27 points on 9-of-13 shooting while grabbing 7 rebounds and dishing out 4 assists in the victory. Creighton improves to 11-5 on the season and 2-1 in Big East conference play.
