The Creighton men’s basketball team started 2020 with a bang in a 92-75 victory against Marquette on Wednesday night. The Bluejays start off 1-0 in Big East play.
Mitch Ballock led the way with 24 points with some key shots and great plays. Ty-Shon Alexander pestered Marcus Howard all night on defense garnering 6 steals and 8 rebounds, and still scored 21 points. Marcus Zegarowski had 16 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Damien Jefferson pitched in 17 points of his own. Even Denzel Mahoney had 10 points in the victory. Everything went the way of the Bluejays on Wednesday night for the victory in front of over 17,000 fans at CHI Health Center Omaha.
