After suffering a late non-conference loss to Tulsa earlier in the week, the Creighton men’s soccer team was looking to get back on the winning track back in conference play against Marquette on Saturday night. With another game in the balance late after Marquette scored an equalizer goal in the 72nd minute, the Bluejays rebounded in the 80th minute to get the victory over Marquette 2-1.
Ricardo Perez scored both goals for Creighton on this night and came up big in the victory, while the Creighton defense held their own allowing Marquette on two shots on goal.
