The Creighton women’s basketball team continued their winning ways on Sunday afternoon as they ran away from Providence 84-57 at DJ Sokol Arena. The Bluejays are on a roll, getting their sixth straight win. This one had special significance due to the Pink conditions in the arena promoting breast cancer awareness.
Marissa Janning led the way with 26 points, freshman phenom Sydney Lamberty put in 16, and Lauren Works buried five three pointers in the victory over the Friars.
