Florida survived for one more day in the College World Series with a 9-6 victory over Texas Tech on Thursday. The win sent the Gators to Friday’s game against Arkansas.
Texas Tech got their bats going a little too late, falling into a 5-0 hole through six innings. While they did get three runs in the seventh, Florida scored insurance runs that were the difference in the end for the victory.
