With the bases loaded and the score tied in the bottom of the ninth inning Sunday evening, South Carolina’s Scott Wingo did what he’s become accustom to — walking off.
Already the owner of a few game-ending hits this season, Wingo drilled a pitch deep to right field to score the winning run. After combining for 8 runs in the first frame, the game-winning run was the first for either team since the opening inning.
