The Creighton men’s basketball team took their AP #10 ranking into the start of Big East play on Wednesday night against Seton Hall. Behind big performances from Maurice Watson, Jr., and Khyri Thomas as well as a great first showing in Big East play by Justin Patton, the Bluejays get the 89-75 victory in front of 18,000 fans at the CenturyLink Center.
Watson had 21 points and 10 assists, while Thomas had 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 steals in the victory. Patton held his own in the post with 17 points and 9 rebounds of his own. The Jays had five players in double-figures with only seven playing in the victory.
