Bluejay Banter Bracketology (3/11/10)

College basketball fans are a week away from the NCAA Tournament Selection Show. Between now and then, many fans will play the role of bracketologist. Tim Krueger, co-host of the Bluejay Banter radio show, is one such fan. Krueger has conducted his own bracket projections for years, even before ESPN’s Joe Lunardi gave such a practice the term Bracketology. Lunardi even praised Krueger’s efforts as a guest on Banter.

Each Monday leading up to Selection Sunday, Krueger will provide White & Blue Review his updated bracket predictions. Bluejay Banter can be heard every Monday from 5-6PM on Big Sports 590 AM, with podcasts of the show available via www.BigSports590.com.

In addition to today, Tim will provide one more bracket Sunday afternoon before the NCAA Selection Show.

Krueger’s Notes About the Bracket:

Not a whole lot changed, although I did take a long look at a lot of teams in the middle of the bracket, hence a few seeding moves.

Missouri took the biggest fall yesterday, as they should losing to Nebraska.

Strong runs by some teams in the A10 and Conference USA tournaments could still get some on the bubble into the Big Dance.

Last four in: Ole Miss, Washington, Florida, San Diego State

Last four out: Dayton, Rhode Island, Memphis, UAB

Next four out: Illinois, Seton Hall, Minnesota, Wichita State
