The Creighton men’s basketball team dove into the “meat” of their non-conference schedule on Saturday night starting with #19 Iowa State. The Bluejays had 21 turnovers and while they played pretty good defense against Iowa State, they could not score enough and fell to the Cyclones, 64-58.
Ryan Hawkins led the way with a Creighton career high 25 points and did what he could to keep the Jays within range. However, Iowa State continued to have an answer and the Jays ran out of time.
Matt DeMarinis and former Bluejay sharpshooter Mitch Ballock get together to talk about the game and answer your questions in the Bluejay Beat postgame podcast.
