The Creighton men’s basketball team closed out their trip to the Virgin Islands on Monday night. Ryan Nembhard hits a runner as time expired to take down former Valley rival Southern Illinois 66-64 as the Bluejays took third place in the Paradise Jam tournament.
The Bluejays finish the tournament with a 2-1 record in three different types of games–The solid end to end victory against Brown, a stumble for their first loss against Mountain West favorite Colorado St., and the buzzer beater against the Saluki’s where they finished the game with a 12-2 run. They all had their highs and lows.
