Creighton Commentary: Revisiting the 2019-20 regular season finale vs. #8 Seton Hall

For those who are looking for a little something different to satisfy their Creighton fix in the days of the COVID-19 Quarantine, White & Blue Review presents what we hope to be the first of many collaborations with various folks, including players, coaches, and media members as we look back on some of the most memorable wins in the modern era of Creighton Athletics.

First up is the men’s basketball team’s 77-60 win over All-American Myles Powell and his Seton Hall Pirates from March 7, 2020. A victory that for Greg McDermott’s and company marked the moment that they officially clinched a share of the Big East regular season title, as well as the top seed in the 2020 Big East Tournament, for the first time in program history. Alex Sindelar, Jacob Padilla, Ravi Lulla, and myself all hopped on Zoom, fired this baby up, and did our best to provide some insight and entertainment as we broke down an historic Senior Day battle between 11th-ranked Creighton and 8th-ranked Seton Hall.

It’s probably best not to watch this at work or around those with sensitive ears, for what’s it worth, as there are some adult language moments (except for Jacob, who always displays the manners of an angel when the public is within earshot of any of his opinions).
