Clemson and Oklahoma started playing on a Tuesday night and finished the game Wednesday afternoon. No, it wasn’t due to a Wimbledon-like stalemate. Mother Nature decided downtown Omaha needed more rain, so weather problems pushed the game to Wednesday afternoon. Clemson won, going to a 2-0 in the CWS and advancing to a 3:30 p.m. game Friday against South Carolina.
