Texas Tech pitchers Bryce Bonnin and Taylor Floyd held Florida State to a combined three hits and 15 strikeouts Wednesday night in Omaha, and in the process eliminated Florida State from the 2019 CWS. It was the final game in Seminoles’ coach Mike Martin’s legendary career, as the 75-year-old wrapped up his tenure with 2,029 wins in 40 seasons.
