Elmar Bolowich may not be a house hold name for many in Omaha, but in the soccer rings it is one that deserves respect. Coach Bolowich will join Creighton after 22 seasons at North Carolina, where he won a national championship in 2001 and took the Tar Heels to the last three College Cups. Elmar will join a Creighton program that many feel will have the talent to make a deep run in the NCAA Tournament in 2011.
