The Creighton men’s basketball team started their home season Tuesday night. And if you’re like me, every part of the game day experience gets you pumped up to be a Jays fan. That includes the in-game videos and multimedia. One of the most anticipated aspects of the men’s basketball season is the unveiling of the “Tipoff” video, the amalgamation of game highlights, audio broadcasts, and exclusive production broadcast before the team hits the court in front of 16,000-plus screaming Creighton fans. Tuesday, the 2009-2010 Tipoff video premiered.
Omaha’s Market Media is the production company in charge of creating the Tipoff and other in-game video at Creighton games. Carl Weiland, the company’s president, recently invited White & Blue Review to take a look at the production process for creating these types of videos. Weiland, a Creighton graduate, has worked on these types of videos in some way since the Bluejays started playing at the Qwest Center. Take an exclusive look at the Tipoff video below:
