Creighton got a much needed win on Saturday against Evansville, posting a big run and then holding on late. But a win is a win, and all wins are needed as the Bluejays hit the stretch run of Missouri Valley Conference play.
Tonight finds Creighton on the road, just a few hours from Omaha east on Interstate 80. Drake hosts CU, and the Bluejays look to sweep the season series from the Bulldogs for the first time since the 2006-2007 season. Drake is on a role, outshooting Southern Illinois last week and then grinding out a win against Northern Iowa on Saturday. They are flying high with confidence which will make it even tougher to escape with a win.
The good part about playing Drake is that it gives fans an easy road trip. Unfortunately, the midweek scheduling hurts the usually large contingent of Bluejays fans heading over from the Omaha metro area. Additionally, the game isn’t on TV in Omaha. Check out the Media Menu below for your options for tracking the 7:05 p.m. tip.
Television
The game will be shown on Mediacom Connections channel 22 that is available throughout Mediacom cable customers across the state of Iowa. Larry Morgan and Al Lorenzen will call the game.
The game will not be available on any TVs in Nebraska due to the game being run over Mediacom’s fiber network, keeping it from other outlets, but you do have options. The following establishments within an hour from Omaha will have the game available to fans if you want to make the trip:
Glenwood, IA
- Kegler Lounge at 601 S. Locust
- Cheers at 411 S. Locust
Red Oak, IA
- Pit Stop at 501 E. Reed
- Red Coach Inn and Lounge at 1200 Senate
Atlantic, IA
- Big Dawgs, 322 Walnut
- Rumors, 1610 E. 7th

For those fans living in Iowa, check channel 22 and you might just see the Bluejays and the Bulldogs.
