The Bluejays hit the road for five of their next seven games, including tonight’s tilt with rival Southern Illinois. Both teams dominated the Valley for the majority of the 2000s, but the rivalry has struggled the past few seasons to have a major effect on the Valley championship. Still, you can bet the home crowd at SIU Arena will be fired up for a Friday night game against Creighton.
