We hate to pull you away from the riveting 49ers-Seahawks late afternoon NFL matchup, but Creighton’s playing at the Qwest Center Sunday at 4 p.m.
Oh, and did I mention they’ll be playing Nebraska?
The Bluejays will try to rebound from a disappointing performance at the Old Spice Classic, but they’ll have to break the Cornhuskers’ defensive pressure in front of a jacked up home crowd.
At White & Blue Review, we want to make sure you are always aware of the different media at your disposal for keeping track of every Bluejays game, home and away. If you won’t be one of the folks in the likely sold out crowd flooding The Phone Booth’s turnstiles on the Sabbath, you’ll have a bevy of broadcasts and media to catch the game anyway.
Television
The game will be broadcast by Omaha’s local CBS station KMTV, otherwise known as Action3 News. Travis Justice and Nick Bahe will have the call.
- If you still have the rabbit ears on your TV, it is available over the air in the metro and surrounding areas.
- For those with cable systems, it is available on Cox channel 5 or 705 (but no HD) in the Omaha metro. In Lincoln and other surrounding Time Warner Cable outlets in Nebraska stretching as far west as York and as far south as Fairbury and Nebraska City, it is available on TWC channel 3.
- On satellite with DirecTV and Dish Network, those with the Omaha DMA will have it on their local CBS channel which is KMTV. However, those with old style satellites will be out of luck since there are no satellite coordinates.
Online
There are several ways to follow the game via the Internet:
- You can listen to the audio online at Big Sports 590 in Omaha.
- Keep up with the Live Stats from GoCreighton.com.
- Streaming video will be available through Creighton’s JumpTV service and also provided to Nebraska NSide subscribers.
- Or for a different perspective you can follow the action on Nebraska’s online radio broadcast at Huskers.com

Or, for the Nebraska side of things with Kent Pavelka, you can listen to the flagship station 1110 KFAB in Omaha or the other statewide affiliates.
