The South Dakota Coyotes used to visit Omaha all the time, back when they regularly played Division II Nebraska-Omaha. With its move to Division I and winning the Great West Conference tournament, South Dakota will come back to the Big O to play Creighton in the Collegeinsider.com Tournament. The matchup actually rekindles a rivalry that has been dormant since the late 1960s; USD and CU have played almost 60 times in the two schools’ histories.
With the Qwest Center being prepped for this week’s NCAA Wrestling Championships, the Bluejays open the doors of the Omaha Civic Auditorium once again. Creighton will play its first men’s basketball game at the Old Barn since March 2003. And while many fans will relish the chance to go back to the Civic for a game, we at White & Blue Review know not all of you can make the game. We want to make sure you are always aware of the different media at your disposal for keeping track of every Bluejays game, home and away. So, here are the options for Tuesday’s 7 p.m. tip-off against South Dakota.
