The Creighton Volleyball team came out swinging on Friday night to do something no one has done over three seasons–defeated Northern Iowa in an MVC conference game. The Bluejays lost the first set and rebounded to take the final three to win the match and place themselves at the top of the conference.
The Bluejays played a balanced match and forced Northern Iowa to make several errors and played the way head coach Kirsten Bernthal Booth wanted them to play taking UNI to their first MVC regular season loss in 60 matches. On Saturday night, Creighton did not let off the gas pedal as they hosted Bradley at D.J. Sokol Arena. Megan Bober recorded her second triple-double of the season and the third in a row against Bradley to take the match in four sets. The Bluejays sit at the top of the MVC with a 6-1 record, 15-3 overall.
